RIDGYPACK/// BLOCKS
Three hour blocks, ready to roll.
MapleROO Fuel Block
MapleROO Fuel Block
A 3-hour fuelling kit built entirely with MapleROO. Australian-made maple-based gels, drink mix and waffle. Simple ingredients, gut-friendly through a long day. Same fuelling logic as our other Fuel Blocks, different flavour and texture profile.
What's in a MapleROO Fuel Block?
Each block includes:
4 x MapleROO gels — one each of Salted Maple, Maple Coffee (caffeinated), Maple Raspberry and Maple Lemon-Lime
2 x Maple Lemon Lime drink mix sachets
1 x maple waffle
That's 207 g of carbohydrate plus electrolytes for about 3 hours of riding at 69 g per hour.
How to use on the bike
Aim for 60 to 90 g of carbohydrate per hour once you're riding longer than 2 hours. One Fuel Block covers about 3 hours. Faster riders or harder efforts may want extra gels or mix to push toward 80 to 90 g per hour, if they've trained their gut.
How to use on the moto
ADV riders eat at stops, not on the move. Mix a sachet into your bottle at each stop. Take a gel or a bite of waffle every 60 to 90 minutes when you pull over. One Fuel Block covers a solid day of steady adventure riding. One gel carries a light natural caffeine hit if you want it — skip it and eat the others first if you'd rather keep the day clean.
Who it's for
Riders who like real-tasting maple fuel and a mix of textures on long rides. ADV riders on shorter or scenic days. Gravel riders on Granite Classic, Audax routes, and long gravel weekends.
Brand-pure by design
Every item in this block is MapleROO. Organic Australian maple syrup, simple ingredients, gut-friendly through a long day. No cross-brand mixing, no gut surprises when it matters.
How RidgyPack Fuel Blocks work
RidgyPack Fuel Blocks are built around hours, not guesswork. Each block contains enough carbohydrate for about 3 hours of riding.
To use them:
- For 3-hour rides, take 1 Fuel Block.
- For 4 to 6-hour rides, take 2 Fuel Blocks.
- For 7 to 9-hour rides, take 3 Fuel Blocks.
Many riders feel best at 60 to 90 g of carbohydrate per hour once rides get long. If you know you tolerate more, add extra gels or drink mix on top of your blocks.
Always test your fuelling in training before race day, and adjust for heat, intensity and your own gut. You can order blocks ahead of your event for delivery.
