PFH Fuel Block
PFH Fuel Block
A 3-hour fuelling kit built entirely with Precision Fuel & Hydration gels and drink mix. 70 g of carbohydrate per hour for steady gravel or alpine riding, or a full day at ADV pace. Scale the number of blocks to match how many hours you'll be out there.
What's in a PFH Fuel Block?
Each block includes:
3 x PF 30 Gels
1 x PF 30 Caffeine Gel
1 x PF 30 Chew
2 x PH 500 drink mix sachets (or equivalent)
That gives you roughly 210 g of carbohydrate plus electrolytes for around 3 hours of riding at 70 g per hour.
How to use on the bike
Aim for 60 to 90 g of carbohydrate per hour once your rides go beyond 2 hours. One Fuel Block covers 3 hours. Many riders feel best between 60 and 90 g per hour. If you know you tolerate more, add extra gels or drink mix per hour.
How to use on the moto
ADV riders eat at stops, not on the move. Mix a drink mix sachet into your bottle at each stop. Take a gel or chew every 60 to 90 minutes when you pull over. One Fuel Block covers a solid day of steady adventure riding.
Who it's for
Gravel and alpine riders. ADV motorcycle riders on longer, harder days. Anyone who wants simple, evidence-informed fuelling without doing maths on the start line.
Brand-pure by design
Every item in this block is Precision Fuel & Hydration. Your gut adapts to one formulation and stays settled through a long day. No cross-brand mixing, no gut surprises when it matters. Informed Sport certified.
How RidgyPack Fuel Blocks work
RidgyPack Fuel Blocks are built around hours, not guesswork. Each block contains enough carbohydrate for about 3 hours of riding.
To use them:
- For 3-hour rides, take 1 Fuel Block.
- For 4 to 6-hour rides, take 2 Fuel Blocks.
- For 7 to 9-hour rides, take 3 Fuel Blocks.
Many riders feel best at 60 to 90 g of carbohydrate per hour once rides get long. If you know you tolerate more, add extra gels or drink mix on top of your blocks.
Always test your fuelling in training before race day, and adjust for heat, intensity and your own gut. You can order blocks ahead of your event for delivery.
